  Private Pilot Certification Course   

The school is an FAR Part 141 / 61, CDMS 796C and M-1, F-1 Visa school, offering flight training from the Private Pilot (PPL) through Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) ratings.  The school utilizes the latest equipment, techniques and facilities including ATC 810 simulators, Jeppesen Audio Visual and 32 well equipped late model aircraft.

PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATION COURSE OUTLINE

2007 and on (PART 141)

Lesson #                       

Stage I

1.       Introduction and basic 4. *   

2.       Review lesson 1 introduction to slow flight. 

3.       Review lesson 2 introduction to stalls and steep turns.       

4.       Review lesson 3 introduction to ground reference maneuvers and emergency proc. 

5.       Review lesson 4 introduction to traffic pattern, low approaches and go-arounds. 

6.       Review lesson 5 introduction to take offs and landings (TO & LDG) emergency proc.

7.       FTD (Flight Training Device)  (BAI min.1.0 hrs IR – Instrument Reference) 

8.       Dual cross-country WWD (dead reckoning). 

9.       FTD [BAI introduction to VOR (PNE-RBV-SBJ-ARD-PNE min.1.5 hrs IR) 

10.     Instrument, radio navigation (PNE-RBV-SBJ-ARD-PNE min .5 hrs IR) 

11.     Dual cross-country LNS (pilotage out / VOR back). 

12.     Dual night airwork take offs and landings, a minimum of 10 TO & LDG (min.1.5 hrs). 

13.     Take offs and landings, repeat this lesson until ready to solo. 

14.     Stage check #1 **

 

Stage II

15.     First supervised solo. 

16.     Second supervised solo. 

17.     Short & Soft field T/O & Ldgs (Takeoff and Landings)

18.     Third supervised solo.

19.     Solo practice TO & LDG

20      Solo practice TO & LDG

21      Solo within practice area

22      Solo within practice area

23.     Dual cross-country ABE-LNS

24.     Night dual cross-country ABE-RDG-LNS (required .5 min IR). 

25.     Solo cross-country WWD.

26.     Solo cross-country LNS. 

27.     Radio Navigation, Diversions, Lost Comms, Emergency procedures (min .5 Hrs IR).

28.     Stage check #2 cross-country ABE-RDG. 

Stage III

29.     Solo cross-country ABE-LNS. 

30.     Long solo cross-country LNS-ENO-SBY-ENO-VCN-PNE.

31.     Dual recommendation BAI VOR tracking inbound and outbound. 

32.     Dual recommendation, airwork, stalls, slow flight and steep turns. 

33.     Dual recommendation ground reference maneuvers. 

34.     Dual recommendation cross-country operations and diversions. 

35.     Dual recommendation, short and soft field TO & Ldgs, and emergency procedures. 

36.     Final stage check #3 / End-of-Course Flight Check.

 

GRADUATION

 

*                 Applicant MUST have a Medical certificate (A Second-Class Medical is recommended) with a student permit and pre-solo written examination completed prior to this lesson.

**            Must have passed the Written examination with a minimum grade of 70% prior to this lesson.
