For insurance reasons our company requires you to have flown in the past 90 days and flown here at Hortman Aviation within the past 6 Months.  If you cannot show proof of this then you must fly with one of our instructors for a minimum of two touch & go and one full stop landing.  All other CFR requirements apply.  This policy does not apply to our Student Pilots. 

If you would like to get checked out in one of the following aircraft, the following minimum insurance requirements apply:

SENECA:                 500 Hours Total Time, 
                                 25 Hours Multi Time

    Instrument Rating
             15 Hours in Make & Model

SEMINOLE:              500 Total Time
                                 25 Hours Multi Time 
                                 Instrument Rating

    15 Hours in Make & Model

SARATOGA:             300 Hours Total Time
                                  Instrument Rating
                                  20 Hours in Complex
                                  5 Hours in Make & Model 
                                  High Performance Endorsement

TOBAGO:                 100 Hours Total Time

                                  3 Hours in Make & Model

ARROW:                    100 Hours Total Time

                                   10 Hours Complex
